How it is calculated
The Speedup Calculator converts the speedup items in your bag into total time per type and checks whether they cover the construction, research or training you still have queued.
Each item counts at its face value (a 5m item is 300 seconds), and items are whole: one item goes on one queue, so time beyond the need is lost, not carried to the next queue. For each need the tool first uses items that fit (own type, then general, largest first), then the smallest remaining item for the last gap, and reports the excess. Needs are processed in the order construction, research, training, healing, expert learning.
SvS points are estimated from the scoring table in the public dataset (points per whole minute of eligible speedups). The points only count on the matching preparation day.

Questions
- Does the tool decide where general speedups should go?
- It applies them in a fixed order so the result is predictable. Move time between needs by changing which needs you enter.
- Are gem speedups included in SvS points?
- No. The dataset’s scoring rows exclude gem speedups, and so does this estimate.
