How it is calculated
The Troop Ratio calculator turns a percentage split into exact whole troop counts for a march or rally, and shows what happens when you do not have enough of one type.
Counts are apportioned with the largest-remainder method: every type gets the whole part of capacity × share, and the leftover troops go to the largest fractional parts (ties: infantry, lancers, marksmen). The counts always add up to the capacity — never one troop more or less.
If a type is limited by what you have, it is capped. With “fill shortfalls” on, the missing troops are re-apportioned to the other types by their weights until capacity is reached or everything runs out. FROSTLINE does not recommend a ratio: the best split depends on heroes, gear and the opponent.

- Why are my percentages slightly different in the result?
- Troops are whole numbers. The “Final” column shows the real share after rounding and limits.
- Which ratio is best?
- There is no universal answer and FROSTLINE does not guess one. Use the split your alliance tested against the target.
